For the past 17 years, IHS has held an annual Summer Day Camp for children aged 4-14. As of this year, Tomorrow's Leaders has taken over this initiative. We offer educational lessons and activities that incorporate STEM, art, Islamic, and Arabic teachings in a fun, friendly and engaging way.

 

In winter of 2024, we offered our first-ever Winter Day Camp. We planned fun and engaging indoor activities for the children including bowling, cupcake decorating, and so much more. This new offering was a huge success, and we plan to keep offering a one-week-long winter camp in the coming years.

As our camp expands its reach, we are trying to offer more exciting opportunities for campers to connect with each other, their religion and their environment by inviting guest speakers to come in and provide them with knowledge, as well as going on multiple field trips throughout the duration of the camp.

 

This camp aims to provide affordable childcare to parents of our community. It typically costs $150/week per child, with early bird offers available. The fees go towards covering the basic cost of buying supplies, paying our camp leaders, providing healthy daily lunches for everyone, and paying for the field trips. This camp is run for three weeks every summer, from mid-July to the beginning of August; and for the first week of the winter vacation
